Presentation and Committees
The Revista Española de Drogodependencias, ISSN: 0213-7615 (print) and ISSN: 2341-1759 (online) is the first scientific journal published in Spanish, founded in 1976 and the official organ of expression of the Asociación Española de Estudio en Drogodependencias. It is intended for any professionals involved in the treatment and prevention of drug and other addictions and its main aim is to disseminate knowledge on alcoholism, drug and other addictions, as well as to contribute to the process of research into addictions by creating links for professionals in the field to swap information with each other.
The Revista Española de Drogodependencias comes out quarterly and is governed by the peer review system. It publishes original works, review articles, opinion articles, legal articles, short papers, commented international literature, news about the sector and the scientific associations involved and other special articles referring to all the fields of addictions and public administration, including epidemiology, prevention, treatment and promotion of health, management and evaluation of policies and services, treatment and environmental health, amongst others.
The Revista Española de Drogodependencias is an Full Open Access publication, which means that all of its content is available free of charge to users or their institutions. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without prior permission from the publisher or author (under Creative Commons licence CC BY-ND 4.0). All articles published since 1975 are available free of charge.
The Revista Española de Drogodependencias is a publication backed by the Government Delegation for the Plan Nacional sobre Drogas and the Universitat de València.
