Back to the sale and consumption of alcoholic drinks to and by minors in Spanish law
abstract
In 2018, underage drinking continues to be a serious public health problem in Spain. We therefore
go back to reflect on the legislative changes proposed in the state regulation on the subject and
their possible effectiveness in both the protection of childhood and adolescence as well as in health
and prevention of drug dependencies. We also set forth how this problem has been addressed,
with different perspectives, by the legislation of Autonomous Communities.
